Cost accounting: An Introduction (लागत लेखांकन : एक परिचय)
1. Meaning of Cost (लागत से आशय):-
- The sum of the expenses incurred in producing a product or rendering a service is known as cost.
- किसी उत्पाद के उत्पादन अथवा सेवा को प्रदान करने में लाग्ने वाले व्ययों के योग को लागत कहा जाता है |
2. Meaning of Costing (लागत निर्धारण से आशय):-
- The process to determine the cost is known as costing.
- लागत ज्ञात करने की प्रक्रिया को ही लागत निर्धारण कहा जाता है |
3. Meaning of Cost (लागत लेखांकन से आशय):-
- Cost accounting is the accounting of expenses for the purpose of finding cost and controlling cost.
- लागत लेखांकन में लागत ज्ञात करने एवं लागत पर नियंत्रण करने के उद्देश्य से व्ययों का लेखांकन किया जाता है |
4. Meaning of Cost Accountancy (लागत लेखाशास्त्र से आशय)
- Cost accountancy includes the process, method, technique, rules, and formats to determine the cost, cost control, cost reduction, principles of cost and cost audit.
- लागत लेखाशास्त्र में लागत ज्ञात करने की प्रक्रिया, विधि, तकनीक, नियमों, प्ररूपों, लागत नियंत्रण, लागत न्यूनीकरण, लागत के सिद्धांतों एवं लागत अकेक्षण को शामिल किया जाता है |
